Blog Giveaway!

Blog Giveaway!

To celebrate the arrival of Urban Landscapes, I am giving away a short stack of fat quarters! And, to sweeten the pot, I have made a Bunch of these little drawstring bags. Sorry most of them have designated homes already, but I saved one just for you! I will pack it with the fat quarter short stack and send it to you. Leave me a comment, and I will randomly select a winner in two weeks. The fabric was donated by Clothworks. Look for instructions on how to make these little bags in the upcoming issue of Quilting Arts Gifts (this link goes to last year's issue, the new issue should be out in September). You may remember my post about cleaning cable clutter from this link.

Your little bags are GREAT -
we have been using clear gallon size zipper bags with the necessary info written with a Sharpie marker. And we try to clean out the drawer at least a couple times each year since technology keeps changing so fast!

Dear Kathy,
I worked the SAQA booth at Long Beach, and guided several viewers to see your work "Falling Thru the Cracks". I'm a BIG fan!!

Those little bags are gorgeous, and seeing them all in a row really makes me smile!
But something else, Kathy: This is my first visit to your blog and I didn't realize that you made that amazing quilt with all those little fish. I saw it when it was exhibited at 'Festival of Quilts' in the UK and I went back several times to look at it again. It was definitely one of my favourites that year!

Long time from our little quilt group ten years ago in Austin. We just moved back from Japan and now are in Omaha, Nebraska. I was online looking for you and a few others and came across your blog. You are amazing as alaways Kathy. I miss the Austin days. I learned so much from you and Jan. Oh and if I win.. I won't share with Jan. :-)! I wish I was going to IQA this year. I might have to make a special trip anyway. Hope you remember me after all of these years :-).
