I took a soy wax batik class with Melanie Testa. It was so much fun that I got some wax and a melting pot and am ready to go on my own. I think I'll try adding dye to the wax.

Ruth, the dye in the wax is more complicated than I put in my post. I highly recommend getting Jane's new book for all the details. Meanwhile, lucky you that you got to take a class from Melanie. She is super!!
