Group projects

Group projects
I never thought I would make a worm.  But, here it is.

I am working on another group project and my panel is loaded with birds and fish and little houses and a big tree.  Photos will come later.  It's funny because I never would have thought to make something like this without the invitation to participate.  One of the many values of working on group projects!  Thanks Frances!

ps.  Love the bird, wish I had made it!  I just cut it out of some fabric that I already had, very cute!

But very original because you thought to use the fabric that way! and I love the little worm....

It's so cute. How did you make one? Care to share it?

I took a strip of red fabric that had fusible on one side. I wrapped it around a twist tie from a loaf of bread. As I wrapped, I lightly pressed with the iron to fuse it and hold in place. Then I could bend it into shape. I couched in on with the pink thread (which makes it appear striped or segmented). And last, painted the eyes on it.
Now that you know, will you make one too? ...and send me a photo! Would love to see it!
